California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 Agreement

We are passionate about and dedicated to helping others live healthy and happy lives. Over the years, we have built a sound reputation based on honest and ethical practices at every level. You would expect nothing less from an industry leader in delivering superior quality nutritional products and lifestyle medicine programs you can trust.

At Metagenics, we fully support the goals of the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010, requiring certain retail sellers and manufacturers doing business in California to publically disclose implemented measures to eradicate forced labor and human trafficking in their supply chains. And we expect our business partners to be diligent and consistent with our honest and ethical business practices.

To ensure that the risks of human trafficking and slavery within our supply chains are mitigated, our direct vendors have been requested to certify as follows:

Compliance with Laws. You comply with all laws related to slavery and human trafficking in the countries in which you do business. Furthermore, to the best of your knowledge and belief, the producers or providers of goods and materials used by you comply with any laws related to slavery and human trafficking in the countries in which they do business; and

Slavery and Human Trafficking. You represent that a) all work performed for you will be voluntary; b) your workers shall be free to leave upon reasonable notice; c) you will not use forced, bonded, or indentured labor or involuntary prison labor; and d) you are not involved in the recruitment, abduction, transport, harboring, transfer, sale or receipt of persons, through force, coercion, fraud or deception. Further, to the best of your knowledge and belief, the foregoing is also true with respect to the producers and providers of goods and materials used by you in your products.
